Heather is a local native to Fort Worth, Texas. Here you will see her several artistic outlets. She is a photographer, painter, and a graphic artist. There are four generations of artists in her family and possibly more than that. Her grandfather, Dale Hanshaw taught her how to paint and sketch during her summer visits to the Valley in South Texas. This is a bio that he wrote about himself for his art shows. How magical these words are…You can see his artwork  here!

“I never knew the time when I didn’t enjoy drawing. As kids I still remember when we would huddle around the coal heater and watch my dad draw funny faces, always a profile- much to our amusement. No time for drawing in high school but some in college at the school of architecture and later finishing in Civil Engineering. Out in the world of Civil Engineering, surface geology, marriage, World War II… Out into the retail business (for 25 years) then retirement, children miles away- and now time to draw! At last! And now in the sunset years- there is still little time to draw. So I must be busy every day... while there is light”.. Dale Hanshaw
